Workshop to develop FreeTime presentations

Freetime workshop at Thomas Hardye School

We had a very energetic and exciting morning workshop at Thomas Hardye School when a large group of young people went off curriculum to start developing their conclusions from their research. They are working towards presenting back to an invited audience on July 15 at 2PM their research, which will highlight their particular interest in this project.

The young people brought in objects, which they proceeded to photograph, and they used iPads to do a lot of video interviews and create trailers for their presentation. This material they will be putting up on the schools making waves website.

There was a lot of teamwork, of sharing of tasks going on, along with a lot of play and laughter. It was great to hear the young people enthusiasm for what they were doing and I am very eager to see how they can capture all this energy and sum up their research.
